Elle MacPherson Intimates Sheer Ribbons Thong

Sheer Ribbons ThongDo you ever wear certain styles of underwear just to get in the mood for a specific event? I have a pair of black and white Nautica boxer briefs that I almost always wear under formal attire. Even though it's highly unlikely that anyone will ever see the underwear I'm wearing, it just makes me feel a little more formal.

Likewise, if I'm going bull riding with the kids, I'll wear my Ginch Gonch Bull rider briefs.

Seriously, though, I think that because underwear is very close to one's body, it helps steer one's attitude. So, if you're in the mood for a Victorian era tea party, and you don't know which thong to wear, then you've gotta try the Elle MacPherson Intimates Sheer Ribbons Thong. It's available in three colors and the pattern on the two pink versions reminds me of the wallpaper you might find in a Victorian tea room.

Now, normally a description like that would not be a complement from me, but I think the look goes pretty well with this thong. The edges are scalloped with a floral embroidered lace and a neat little ribbon bow adorns the center. The stripes are created in a sheer tulle and they continue on the back, providing a moderate amount of coverage considering it's a thong. It's prettiness transcends the Victorian era and so it's most definitely wearable on those rare days when you do not have a scheduled tea with the Queen.
